TL;DR

My life got busy, and I will be publishing monthly. Posts will be on the first Sunday of every month and primarily focus on chainmail projects I am working on.

Celebration of 3 Years

As of today, it has been 3 years since I uploaded my first chainmail weave, the Chainmail Cube on January 25, 2023, to what would become this website. Over these 3 years, I have quite consistently (only being 1 day late 1 time) uploaded a post covering a new weave or chainmail project once every Sunday. During these years, I have grown my skills in photography, web development, 3D modelling, writing, and of course, chainmail. Throughout my life, I have tried many avenues of artistic expression. I have never truly enjoyed one as much as I do chainmail, it has been the only artform that I have managed to consistently engage with.

Life Changes

Life is constantly changing and rarely static for an extended period. Starting in October of 2025, I have had a massive decrease in my weekly free time, which I can use to work on my blog. Due to a combination of hard work during this time (prioritizing the blog) and before (pre-writing posts), I have managed to keep up a weekly posting schedule for these 4 months. However, rather than end this blog documenting my journey with chainmail, I will be changing my posting schedule and content.

New Schedule & Content

Going forward, I am aiming to keep up a monthly posting schedule, releasing a new post on the first Sunday of every month (first new post will be February 1st). The new content will be mostly project-oriented, with perhaps a weave of posts or tutorials added as a foundation for exploring something new. I plan to use the extra time to rest, explore new mediums and ideas, possibly incorporate those new mediums and ideas and increase the quality of my posts. I am looking forward to the larger projects and better posts these changes will let me create.
